What Is A Pop Top?
A pop top is a simple plastic container with a hinged lid that pops open when you squeeze the sides below the cap. This feature (often) makes them child resistant (all of our pop tops are child resistant). Because of this common compliance feature and their optional opaque color varieties, pop tops are a common dispensary choice for packaging flower and capsules.
How Do You Open Pop Top Bottles?
To open a pop top bottle, pinch on either side just below the cap and squeeze. The lid will pop open on its hinge.

How Do You Test For Child Resistance On Pop Top Bottles?
Child resistant packaging is tested and certified by the ASTM and CPSC. In order to qualify as child resistant, packaging must be “constructed to be significantly difficult for children under five years of age to open within a reasonable time, and not difficult for normal adults to use properly.” That definition is actually borrowed from the Poison Prevention Packaging ACT (PPPA, est. 1970). Are Pop Top Bottles Smell Proof?
